With the current situation related to the COVID-19 pandemic we just wanted to assure you that we will be taking every precaution to protect our employees and our clients. We have all the best personal protective equipment in stock and will use it as necessary to protect everyone.

Local essential businesses are struggling to keep things clean and safe for employees and clients alike.  The biggest shift in public thinking will be and must be that our indoor spaces must be cleaned to create a healthy indoor environment in which to live and work.  The EPA has a list of products and their characteristics, along with contact time or dwell times.

You will notice that household products such as bleach (some forms, please check on the EPA’s website), lysol, etc. will not help with the disinfecting for the coronavirus.  Also, one of the most important items to pay attention to is the contact time or, as we call it, the dwell time.  If you wipe down the surface and dry it your products will not be effective.

We have a supply of this in stock and are ready to help you attain a clean environment for your work day.  It is our suggestion that you:

• Clean your soft items such as carpets and upholstered pieces.  Get those deep cleaned with high heat with a sanitizing pre-spray.  Start with this so that you have a clean surface on which to apply the disinfectant.
• Apply the disinfectant to the carpet and upholstered pieces and let it dry for maximum results.
• In a business with incoming clients such as a bank, grocery store, etc., apply a disinfectant to all hard surfaces and touch-points.  This disinfectant must be applied and allowed to dwell for the prescribed period of time and then dried.  This can be a somewhat time consuming process, but the best practice.
• The previous step must be repeated daily to keep the surfaces as low as possible.
